Turfgrass® Congratulates Our Longstanding Partner
We extend our warmest congratulatrions to Tralee Golf Club, a valued Turfgrass® client for many years, who has been selected to host the 2026 Arnold Palmer Cup. Taking place from 3rd to 5th July 2026, this prestigious event will bring the world’s top collegiate golfers to one of Ireland’s most iconic links courses.
Located on the rugged Atlantic coast in County Kerry, Tralee Golf Club has long been recognised for its dramatic setting, challenging layout, and deep connection to the legacy of Arnold Palmer, who designed the course in the early 1980s. Since then, the club has remained committed to continuous improvement and innovation, building on its natural strengths while investing in both infrastructure and agronomy.
Turfgrass® has been proud to support Tralee’s evolution through detailed construction and agronomic specifications, grow-in expertise and long-term agronomy support, working closely with the golf course development team to enhance the play and guest experience year after year.
“Tralee Golf Club is a great combination of world-class natural terrain and golf agronomy ,” says Julian Mooney, Director of Agronomy at Turfgrass®. “It’s been a privilege to support their progress and we are thrilled to see their exceptional work recognised on the global stage through the Arnold Palmer Cup.”
Hosting the Arnold Palmer Cup is a fitting next chapter for a course that consistently ranks among the top links in the world. Turfgrass® extends its congratulations to everyone at Tralee Golf Club and we look forward to supporting them in the lead-up to what promises to be a spectacular international event.
