Turfgrass® is delighted to announce its reappointment as the Official Agronomists to the 2026 Solheim Cup, marking the sixth consecutive European-hosting of the tournament in which Turfgrass® has played this vital role. This honour cements Turfgrass®’s reputation as a cornerstone in the preparation and delivery of the world’s most prestigious international women’s professional golf team event.
Since its inception, The Solheim Cup has represented the pinnacle of women’s golf, combining the tradition and prestige of the game with the passion and teamwork of international competition. Turfgrass® has been integral to the tournament’s success for nearly two decades, beginning with its debut as agronomists at the 2007 Solheim Cup in Halmstad, Sweden.
Following their work at Killeen Castle, Ireland (2011), St. Leon-Rot, Germany (2015), Gleneagles, Scotland (2019) and Finca Cortesin, Spain (2023), Turfgrass® now embarks on a new chapter as the Official Agronomists for the 2026 Solheim Cup, hosted at Bernardus Golf in the Netherlands, a first for this iconic tournament. “It is a real honour for Bernardus to host the Solheim Cup in 2026.
