Carving championship golf from one of the world’s most dramatic landscapes

Set high in the Andes at 9,500 feet above sea level, Quito Tenis y Golf Club is one of the most technically demanding golf course developments in the world. Designed by Robert Trent Jones II, the course follows vast canyon edges and natural stream corridors, creating a layout that rivals the world’s great cliffside championship courses.

With minimal earthworks and terrain-led routing, the design preserves the natural landforms, producing a course that feels carved by nature rather than constructed.

Turfgrass® is providing full agronomic and construction leadership, including on-site project management, agronomy specifications, material sourcing, construction-phase quality control and grow-in planning. Supported by the global Turfgrass® technical team, the project is being delivered to ensure tournament-ready playing surfaces, long-term turf health and sustainable operations at extreme altitude.
