Interlachen Country Club in Winter Park, Florida is undergoing a comprehensive golf course renovation led by Fazio Design and Tom Marzolf, modernising the historic Joe Lee layout while preserving its classic design heritage.
Turfgrass® provided agronomic leadership throughout the design and construction process, ensuring the technical foundations matched the ambition of the architectural vision. Our scope included peer review of agronomic specifications, laboratory testing and validation of construction materials, turf selection, drainage performance and irrigation strategy.
The renovation features expanded greens, repositioned bunkers, sand-capped approaches and low-mow surrounds, all underpinned by engineered agronomic systems designed for firm, fast and sustainable playing conditions.
Through on-site consulting and grow-in support, Turfgrass® aligned course conditioning, nutrient management, water efficiency and maintenance planning with the club’s long-term performance goals, delivering a high-performance Fazio/Marzolf championship course built to endure.
