Turfgrass® proudly led the major renovation project at Karachi Golf Club’s Yellow Course. Pakistan, delivering a significant upgrade to the course’s greens. With the greens nearing their 20th anniversary, Karachi Golf Club entrusted Turfgrass® with the renovation following the successful trial of the 18th green. This positive outcome initiated a comprehensive three-year plan to resurface all 27 greens across the club.

The renovation involved a meticulous overhaul of the Yellow Course greens. Key aspects of the renovation included:

• The renovation involved complete core removal, deepening and resizing of bunkers and adjustments to surface contours.
• A new drainage system was installed to meet USGA standards, ensuring enhanced performance and longevity of the greens.
• The laying of a fresh USGA root zone was complemented by the replanting of green surrounds, promoting healthy turf growth.
• The project incorporated feedback from club members to refine surface contours, reflecting modern standards and improved equipment capabilities.

The renovation was managed by the Course Manager, alongside the dedicated in-house team. Their work adhered to a strict timeline, ensuring that the project was completed before the onset of the monsoon season. Turfgrass® is proud to have contributed to the revitalization of Karachi Golf Club’s Yellow Course, bringing the greens up to the highest standards of quality and excellence. This renovation not only enhances the playing experience for club members but also strengthens the long-term sustainability and appeal of Karachi Golf Club.
