In April 2023, Turfgrass® proudly supported the launch of the Marlay Park Putting Green, a family-friendly public golf facility in Dublin. Spearheaded and designed by three-time major champion Padraig Harrington, this 3000-square-metre putting course was designed to make golf accessible to all, fostering a welcoming space for individuals of every age and ability. The project was based on the famous Himalayas in St. Andrews, Scotland.

Turfgrass®, in collaboration with Atlantic Golf Construction, contributed their expertise pro bono, making this a truly philanthropic project. The facility includes a putting green six times the size of an average green, featuring fun undulations and hole locations. Turfgrass®’s expertise and agronomy services ensured a high-quality, sustainable build, creating a community space for all to enjoy.

Padraig Harrington, whose charitable foundation helped fund the project, stated, “It’s been a dream of mine to create an affordable, accessible facility for all ages and abilities at no cost. It’s amazing to see it come to life and introduce golf to future generations.”
